We collect information to deliver high-quality, reliable car washing operations at your doorstep:
- Personal Identification Data: Full name, primary phone number, alternate contact number, and email address.
- Vehicle Details: Vehicle make (brand), model, color, registration number plate, and preferred wash time slot.
- Location & Address: Residential society/apartment name, wing/flat number, parking slot designation, landmark, city, and GPS coordinates (to dispatch wash personnel to your exact car location).
- Operational & Visual Records: High-resolution timestamped before-and-after wash photographs taken by our cleaning staff for service verification and quality auditing.
- Billing & Payment Records: Payment mode, invoice identifier, transaction reference ID, and subscription cycle status.
🔒 3. Payment Processing & Financial Data Security
Carzz does NOT capture, collect, or store your sensitive financial information, such as full credit/debit card numbers, CVV security codes, card expiry dates, or Net Banking login passwords on our servers.
All digital online transactions on Carzz are encrypted and processed through certified, RBI-licensed payment gateway partners, primarily Razorpay Software Private Limited ("Razorpay").
- Razorpay is certified under Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) Level 1, ensuring the highest level of encryption and financial security.

4. How We Use Your Information
Your data is collected strictly for legitimate business purposes:
- To create, manage, and verify your customer account and vehicle profiles.
- To route our assigned wash staff to your exact parking location on your scheduled wash days.
- To deliver real-time wash completion proofs (before/after photos) directly into your customer portal and via WhatsApp.
- To process subscription billing, receipts, invoices, and service updates.
- To notify you regarding schedule shifts, rainfall reschedules, or account alerts via SMS, Push, or WhatsApp.
- To resolve customer complaints and respond to support queries.
5. Third-Party Disclosures
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party advertisers. We only share necessary data with trusted operational service providers who are contractually bound to confidentiality:
- Payment Processors: Razorpay for processing digital payment authorizations and refunds.
- Communication Services: Meta WhatsApp Cloud API / SMS gateways for sending automated booking confirmations, photo proofs, and due date reminders.
- Cloud Storage: Secure cloud storage providers (such as Vercel Blob) for safeguarding wash photo proofs.
- Legal Authorities: Only when required under Indian law, court summons, or regulatory directives.
6. Data Retention & Security
We implement industry-standard organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect personal data against loss, theft, and unauthorized access. Wash inspection photos are retained for a default retention period of 30 to 60 days to allow customer review and quality verification, after which they are archived or safely purged.
7. Your Rights & Choices
You have the right to review, update, or correct your personal contact details, vehicles, and parking designations at any time by logging into the Carzz customer portal or contacting our support team. If you wish to close your account or request data deletion, you may email us at hello@carzz.app.
8. Cookies & Local Storage
Our website and progressive web app (PWA) use cookies and local storage tokens solely for session management (keeping you logged in securely) and theme/language preferences. We do not use intrusive third-party cross-site ad tracking cookies.
